Description:
Fixation with formaldehyde alters or completely destroys many antigens and epitopes immunoreactivity. The negative effect of formaldehyde fixation can be successfully reversed for some markers with enzymatic digestion, while with others it does not work properly. Digestion of previously deparaffinized and hydrated tissue sections with trypsin enzyme has been found to recover the immunoreactivity of many antigens in fixed tissues.
Storage and Stability:
Store the vial at 2-8 ºC. After its use, immediately put it back at 2-8 ºC. At this temperature, concentrated trypsin is stable at least for 12 months.
