In order to use the Master Dual Staining kit it should be noted that the two antibodies must come from different
animals (mouse / rabbit).
Due to the presence of a soluble chromogen in alcoholic solutions, the slides must be air-dried and for final mounting
an aqueous mounting media should be used. -

Description: p16INK4/Ki67 Dual Staining Kit is a immunohistochemical staining kit based on the dual staining technology for the simultaneous detection of the p16 protein and the Ki67 proliferative activity marker. The kit has been validated both in cytological samples and in formalin-fixed paraffin embedded-tissue sections using manual or semiautomatic protocol in
LabVision Autostainer type platforms. The co-expression of the two markers p16INK4 and Ki67 is a marker for active/in progress HPV infections. The kit has diagnostic value in lesions caused by the HPV in the female genital tract, especially in differentiating high-grade squamous dysplastic lesions from those with a similar morphology; it can be used in other related lesions. This kit contains reagents for the detection of the antigens p16INK4/Ki67 based on a system of micro-polymers conjugated with peroxidase and alkaline phosphatase, and it is sufficient to perform 100 determinations following the recommended protocol.
